Nice to see you around here Zartan!
I think i have the pyramid map from the aliens set with the moving walls. What are you looking for in regards to miniatures? I am in Europe so shipping costs may vary depending where you are. Send me a message.

So it's basically just us on this graveyard?...
Personally I think Horrorclix is timeless. You don't need to create new figs for the game to be relevant, like the so called Horrorclix 1.5 or 2 whatever. Sure if you are creative like what Rems did with the Nightmare creature set THAT is different, it adds.
Now I'm playing HEROCLIX that's the game my friends and I play A LOT, like almost every weekend. Just bought a brick of the new EARTH X set and we had a tons of fun and we basically buy a brick for each new set that comes out and we always go back to old HEROCLIX figs it would be lame of us to only play the new ones. But! We do play HORRORCLIX at least once(or twice) every 2 months and we ONLY use the original figures, maps and Plot Twists; the game NEVER gets old or boring. Some people doesn't matter what they play or use will get bored eventually, I think there is grat value in appreciatimg what you have.
Horrorclix will always be special to me, the feeling that I got when I first started playing the game I won't forget I remember that I hadn't been so into something sice I was a child and that blew me away to be able to feel like that in my late 20's. Some figs have high value to me specially the figures from the Starter Set, I still have all all the boxes stored in good condition including the Freddy vs Jason set, Alien Queen and the BPRD set.
Then I met the community π I was so happy to interact with others that shared my passion and everyone was awesome to me except this angry person that got really upset because at the time I couldnt quite get the "round up" thing (english is not my primary/native language) believe me I got it now LOL I've even won some HEROCLIX tournaments, but despite of that I just want to say Thanks to you and all the HorrorClix community and fans. And since I'm still collecting HorrorClix it's very present to me.
π»πThe nature of HorroClix is that it's UNDEAD. It rises from the grave to provide hours of fun.π»π
Also there was kinda recently and Undead set from HeroClix, I bought two gravity feeds from that wave because it was just beautiful. π

I think most people that still play horrorclix have migrated to the Horrorclix facebook group and there is much more activity there. I personally prefer closed FB groups for my hobbies though, as there is no need to spam my friends activity feed with my hobbies that they have no interest in, if i post something, so i haven't joined the action there yet.
Agreed with you, i get very nostalgic with Horrorclix and the base set minis, haven't had the opportunity to play in a long time but i check around here from time to time.
I have played other miniature games and wargames but horrorclix has something unique that keeps it fun after all these years.

I'm part of those FB groups. They are all about playing online and doing customs something that I personally don't like. I think that the major issue with HorrorClix and other tabletop games is to have someone to play with.....I guess I'm really lucky to have friends that despite all that life has, family, work, responsabilities ...we still find the time, even for a couple of hours to enjoy what we like. That is what I enjoy the most about table top games, to get to hang out with friends have a couple of beers, laugh and have a good time.
By the way the guy from Ebay didn't answer back I guess he prefers to sell the whole thing that just some of it. I tried the HeroClix page and some will check into their stuff and see if they have something to sell me. I'll let you know how it goes.

Having friends to play the game up close is the best blessing for games like Horrorclix, especially with games that are out of production and people might not be aware of them. That is my ideal tabletop scenario as well, just having a couple hours of fun casual gaming. Let me know how your treasure hunt goes, if you need anything drop me a pm.

There is always a place for HorrorClix 1.0. Most of the games I play are with the original pieces. A lot of the custom content is really fun to play with in its own right though. I would ideally like to see the two formats coexist, similar to how Magic had Standard, Extended, Legacy, etc.
Also, if you prefer a smaller community that doesn't result in facebook spam, there is a HorrorClix channel on my discord server with a handful of players there (aside from my own play group).

I do like the original horrorclix as well as the custom stuff.
I don't mind bigger communities or being spammed with notifications myself. I just prefer closed groups instead of public ones when it comes to Facebook, so that my own posts don't clog up my friends' new feed, since they are not interested in most of my hobbies.
What i will always like about forums is that it is easier to keep track of threads/posts and archives.
Nice to see you too around these parts, Sarcanis!
