WARNING: THIS PAGE IS GRAPHICS HEAVY! I have been hard at work reformatting and improving the appearance of my blank Monster Cards. I decided to include every rank for each type. So, each card type includes the Common, Uncommon, Rare, Super Rare and Chase card variations. These cards are stored on Photobucket at 100% (3.5" x 5.0"). No resizing needed. SINGLE SIDED DOUBLE SIDED CROSSROADS POWERS CONTINUED ON OTHER SIDE TRANSFORM And now my fiends, every card type is uploaded! Save and enjoy!

Using them on NC set too! I'm very slow at the moment, but your tutorial has given me a method to improve on.

Well, I'm certainly happy to hear it! I'll be using wave 3 cards to upgrade all of my sets.

As much as I liked the sculpts in the first sets (not so much Freakshow) I hated the REV system. Individuality is something I'm glad Wiz kids try to promote now.

I understand completely. I only thought REVs worked well with generic pieces (cops, soldiers, etc). As far as sculpts go, the base set and the lab had the best sculpts and ideas. Freakshow was too much of a limited theme. Hell a freakshow could have been a subset and I would have been happier. Nightmares had some of the dumbest monsters ever (IMHO) Flasher, Death (that sculpt is (I think) the worst one ever), Dominatrix, Inbreeder (that one screams Freakshow). Oh, and the Shoggoth is just insulting. The sculpt is okay, but that is NOT a shoggoth!

I liked the Oz set in NM and the Pirate. Shoggoth was another favourite of min (sorry), the rest is meh! The Freakshow should have been spread out over the sets and could have been a Cabal....hell there's already clown in the Baseset.

I think my issue with the Shoggoth is simply power wise that is NOT a shoggoth! Lovecraftian? Certainly! But where is the incredible physical power of the shoggoth? That thing's dial would have been perhaps better suited for an Elder Thing or Yithian. And yes, Freakshow should have been liberally spread throughout the sets.
I too love the Oz Zombies, it's a shame they didn't create more Oz horrors. The Wicked Witch of the West would have been great!

There are the flying monkeys in the Freakshow, I'm almost certain that's where the inspiration for the NM figs came from, so yeah just no witch. Which is another thing that disappointed me with HrC...there's Brine witch (doesn't count) and the Coven of witches, that's it? I think. Witches are a big part of the horror genre and we don't even have 5 (or 3 by my half arsed counting).
I have only read 1 book that features Shop goth and all he does is smash through doors and chase some bloke around...I don't remember what that story was called, it was in Macabre Tales Volume 1. The whole time I wanted him to eat the guy...never happened.

Well, this is your lucky day! I decided to make a few more figures for Crate of Horrors before its grand re-unveiling. In it you will find a Dark Witch and a Light Witch!
It's a long read, but "At the Mountains of Madness" has the Shoggoths in all their hideous glory. In the mythos, a shoggoth is one of the most dangerous beasties to face, nigh indestructible, and they are capable of crushing everything in their path. Think greasy smear after one's past over you!

Ooh, I forgot you were working on that set again. Super, I look forward to it.
Like the greasy smear that's left over after eating KFC, do Shoggoths like KFC? I shall give Mountains of Madness a go.

Shoggoths like anything they can roll over! Nom nom nom!
In the Call of Cthulhu RPG, you'd rather be in a leaky life raft above Devil's Reef armed only with three toothpicks than face even a small Shoggoth. In the mythos there are Great Old Ones that are easier to defeat than a shoggoth! Yep, they are that bad! Your best bet, run like hell and hope they don't catch you!
BTW, that should've been "passed". Damn (shakes head sadly)...
