A little compilation of my Noobish questions at I.W.F.
Frenzy:
A Move Power can be used during a Frenzy.
Example:You can move in with Rake slay a Victim deal 1 Damage and then finish with the Frenzy for a separate 1 Damage.
You can Frenzy with Entice(moving 0 spaces) and so on.
Damage Dealt and Damage Taken:
There is a huge difference, Damage Dealt can be reduced by Stamina and Invulnerable or evaded by Dodge or Martial Artists.
Damage Taken, you click your Monster of the Damage no matter what Powers your Monster has.
Plot Twists:
From the FAQ Rules
"Preview Phase
-Who may play a Plot Twist Cards: The Active Player.
-How many: One
Suspense Phase
-Who may play Plot Twist Cards: The Opponent to the Active Player's left.
-How many: One per Chosen Victim
Hunting Pase
-Who may play Plot Twist Cards: An Opponent (starting with the player to the Active Player's left) hast the ability to play a Plot Twist card (or use a Monster Power) to prevent a slaying (or rescue) of a Victim.
-How many: One per action (slaying/rescue attempt).
Note: Some Plot Twist cards may supercede these rulings. If they are allowed to be played at other times, they will have language specific to when they may be played. Current examples include the reroll text on Cold Spot, Stuck Door and Broke a Heel."
Some Plot Twists can be played during your Turn like "Big Ring of Keys" and J"ust a Little Further" after all opposing Players decided not to play a Plot Twist or can't play a Plot Twist then you can play them in your turn.

-Can Giants do their Frenzy from up to 2 spaces?
-Do they need to break away? on the Nightmares instructions it says "when applicable" but I don't thing that "when applicable" exists.

-Can Giants do their Frenzy from up to 2 spaces? When a monster frenzies, it engages in close combat. At this time (and ONLY at this time), it is considered adjacent if it is 2 spaces away. -Do they need to break away? on the Nightmares instructions it says "when applicable" but I don't thing that "when applicable" exists. Yes, Giant monsters must break away to begin moving. Once movement begins, they can move through and adjacent to opposing monsters without having to stop like a normal monster would, but they still have to break away to start the movement in the first place.

The carried Monster can move normally without any restrictions in that turn?

On the Castle Ruins map, the Red Line works as Hindering for Movement purposes and Blocking for Ranged but if I move inside that line it's still continuous Hindering or only if I cross it?
If I move from the Red line to Hindering, do I stop? or do I continue moving half my speed value?

From my memory, the red lines indicate a juvenile elevated terrain system. For movement purposes, it is treated as hindering terrain and you must halve your speed value (unless you have leap/climb). Anyone outside of the red line making a ranged attack targeting a monster inside of the red line does not have a clear line of sight and cannot make an attack. I guess the red line is like a monster hiding on a rooftop....again, I haven't played that map in 4 years or more, but I'm sure I got that right.

Yep, I think you've got it right. The complexities of elevated terrain in Heroclix are insane and can be real head scratchers. The simplistic approach worked great!

Elevated terrain is fantastic for the depth it adds to ranged combat and movement and it's not hard at all to understand. The castle walls just got in the way and made it a huge pain in the ass to get into the battle without Leap/Climb.

As a judge for Heroclix, I can tell you that Elevated terrain has caused more arguments that anything else in recent years. I stand by what I said. Oh sure, it's cool, but some of the rules are rather dumb.
I loved the way elevated terrain worked when it first came out. The castle map is a fine example of simple elevated terrain and I love it.

I have two Plot Twist questions.
-Clown Car the stacking of the Victim has to an adjacent Victim or it can be any Victim even if it's way over the other side of the map?
-Bloody Feast, every other Vampire adjacent to the Victim is healed of one damage except the Monster that slayed the Victim?

Plot Twist questions:
-Beg for Mercy Plot Twist: the Card says "Play this card when a victim is about to be slain. The active player may choose for the slaying attempt to fail. If he or she does no, roll a d6. On a result of 4-6, the monster is dealt 2 damge. What happens to the Victim if the result is 4-6? slain? or slaying fails?
-Greasepaint Plot Twist: What happens to the monster that can't be moved? Do you place an action token? or you just leave it there without moving?

Merry Xmas to all!! I got a cool unexpected surprise from my girlfriend the Alien Queen set( my first Alien and Predator and she probably got it really cheap since she doesn't like to spend money on "toys".) I have a question: On the Harness Dial there are clicks where Invulnerable and Stamina are showing...how does that work? Is Stamina misplaced where both are showing at the same time?

They would both activate, shaving 3 damage off of an attack. Both are considered separate powers, and both activate whenever the monster takes damage (though it is a bit odd that they'd both be placed on the same click, but that's probably just so AQ can tank more damage.)

Thanks But I'm not sure they stack up... Remember it's the Harness I know it's supposed to be tough; but to be only breakable with Monsters with 4 Damage or Critical Hits with 3 Damage Monsters on is kinda too much. How does anyone here plays her?

I personally mostly use her 300 point version, without the egg sack, for faster games. But i agree with JakJak, i believe Invulnerable and Stamina should stack when they show up on the same click. You could also use monsters with "Pain" to deal penetrating damage to it, unless there is a rule for the harness dial that prevents penetrating damage, and i have forgotten it.

The rule book only covers dependant powers and how they must only be used one at a time (pages 12-13) . Since neither Stamina nor Invulnerable are a dependant power they can stack. A little over powered though....unless you got slash and roll 4-6.

Well..since our beloved game is filled with errors in Powers and such I thought this was one of them. I get stacking up say like Harmonic Convergence with a couple of Legends and Boss or Dread and Scare but this is the first time I hear stacking up powers from the same character...but then again it's a Harness not a character.

I have some minion questions. Used them last night with my friends and it was a mess we totally forgot some stuff and the FAQ doesn't say much.
So before I star assuming stuff, have to ask.
What can Minions do? and What can't they do?

Well, I cleared my doubt. Since you can move a Minion instead of a Victim on your Suspense Phase, I wondered if you can use that same Minion during you Hunting Phase and the answer is yes.

If you want to carry a Monster with your Giant but that Monster is adjacent to an opposing Monster do you have to make a break away roll? or do you just carry your Monster away?
