Yeah, but it seemed that every time I was in England it was chilly. I loved the place but one week or so of warm summer temps must really get to you.

I'm a redhead (Irish ancestory on my old mans side), so ANY sun gets to me. Egypt boasted 45C (113F), I was using some crazy high factor suncream.

The beer wasn't so great, but the free rum made up for it

So, let me get this straight. You are on my dream vacation - Egypt. Getting hammered on bad beer & free rum? My jealousy grows!

I've been to nearly all 50 states (haven't been to Maine), Japan, Korea, Germany, Italy, Greece, Albania, Bosnia / Herzegovina, Sweden, Scotland, England, France, Spain, Belgium, Austria and probably another dozen countries that I'm drawing a blank on...

I have yet to see Stone Henge, which is less than 200 miles away, I will probably go there next. Wales is nice and much more rural than England, I'd also love to go to the Highlands of Scotland. I have been to Aberdeen, but that was well developed and felt like the City I already live in.

The Scottish Highlands are absolutely beautiful! One of the most beautiful places I have ever been. I went to Loch Ness back before any fast food joints opened up. One word: Gorgeous.
Not been to Stonehenge yet? WTH?! We loved it! I took my family to England on holiday and the highlights were Stonehenge, Canterbury Cathedral, The British Museum (where my passion for Egyptology caused an awkward situation), our self guided Ripper Walk (BTW, Whitechapel at night does have a certain ominous feeling to it). And far too many others to list here!
Although (and I know I'm dating myself here) we stopped at a TGIF (I believe) and ate while watching France finally win the World Cup!

That was in 96, right? England really do need a cup win! We (sometimes) get to the quarters/semis and flunk up.... I blame Rooney!

Yeah, it has been a while. I miss Football. We just don't do it well here. I was pretty disgusted with the whole cannibalism going on during the last World Cup. Is it me or has "The Beautiful Game" become uglier and more savage? Geez, you'd think they were playing Rugby (another game I love)!

There is a lot of diving in football. It's a pathetic attempt at getting a free kick or a penalty. The honesty has gone from the game.
My Local rugby team is world famous, the mighty Leicester Tigers. They are the equivalent of football's Manchester United (who aren't doing as well since Fergie left.)

No, Man United has had better seasons to be sure! Lordy Lou I miss football.
I'm sick of the dives as well. It now seems like it's sadly become a built-in part of the game. In an interview with the last World Cup players it was brought up and there were a few sheepish grins before acknowledging that it happens. All that really seems to happen (outside of possible penalties or free kicks) is a delay of game. No room for that in football!
Congrats on your rugby team. That's a sport that sadly isn't very big here. At least we never embraced Cricket! ;P
